Dear respected members,
It is a matter of great joy that the MIDCIPS NZ-2025 is going to be held on 20th April 2025 at GMC Amritsar, which is my alma mater.
I appreciate the way the organizing committee team, under the dynamic leadership of organizing chairperson Prof (Dr) Neeru Bala, is putting their sincere efforts into this mega event. The land of the Great Gurus, Sri Amritsar, is known for its wonderful hospitality, and the theme of MIDCIPS 2025 Mental health issues in the Digital Era suits the current clinical practice.
I wish the MIDCIPS-NZ 2025 a grand success and request esteemed members to join in large numbers.

THE HONORARY GENERAL SECRETARY
It is a matter of great pleasure that the holy city of Amritsar is playing host to the Midyear Conference of the Indian Psychiatric Society - North Zone. This also happens to be the first event of 2025.
I have been following up on the preparations of the organizing team under the able stewardship of Dr Neeru Bala, and I must place on record, my appreciation of the hard work done by the entire team at the Government Medical College, Amritsar.
The theme for the conference is very apt as digitization has swept into both our personal and professional lives in myriad ways and has almost changed the paradigm of our day-to-day practice. Hence, there is an urgent need to be acquainted with the different aspects of digitization and how this affects the mental health of the community.
I wish the entire organizing team great success and look forward to being enriched by the proceedings of the conference.
